Getting Ready for Tax Day: IRS Puts Out Bid to Buy Sixty Police Shotguns

If we are to believe senator Harry Reid (see video below), the taxation system in the United States is voluntary. Reid admits that if you don’t pay your cut to the government you will be fined or arrested and imprisoned, but the system is voluntary in the sense that you are allowed to file tax forms. Other countries, says Reid, just take your money without this formality.

Prior to the Sixteenth Amendment (supposedly ratified on February 3, 1913) there was no justification for the government to steal your hard-warned money. The Constitution, in Article I, Section 8, gives Congress the power “to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States.” It says nothing about income taxes.
“The Internal Revenue Service is the enforcement arm of the Federal government’s present unjust tax system,” notes the Constitution Party. “Citizens, both in groups and as individuals, have repeatedly sought responses from the IRS bureaucracy as to the basis for the agency’s tax policies and procedures. No answers have been forthcoming although a responsible government must be answerable to the people and has a duty to those it is supposed to serve.”
Obama has rolled out his class warfare tax increase rhetoric. He says he will increase taxes on the “rich” (defined as anybody who makes over $200,000 per year) in order to pay down the debt owed to a gaggle of international bankers. He also plans to float increased taxes on corporations.
“While we extend middle-class tax cuts in this budget, we will not continue costly tax cuts for oil companies, investment fund managers and those making over $250,000 a year,” Obama said. “We just can’t afford it.”
Of course, the real rich — the Warren Buffetts and Rockefellers of the world — and large transnational corporations do not pay taxes. Taxes are for the little people (including those making around $200,000), as billionaire Leona Helmsley once said. Obama is merely attempting to sell the idea of tax increases by engaging in class warfare and pandering to public contempt for oil companies and “investment fund managers” on Wall Street.
New taxes will be taken out of the hide of the average American, as always. In order to enforce this looting, the IRS and its Criminal Investigation Division will need more muscle in the coming months. That’s why they are arming themselves to the teeth. The role of the Criminal Investigation Division is to “generate the maximum deterrent effect, enhance voluntary compliance, and promote public confidence in the tax system,” according to Treasury Department, a branch office of the Federal Reserve (currently run by the criminal Timothy Geithner, the man with Goldman Sachs on his speed dialer).
According to the FedBixOpps website, the IRS is in the market for sixty police shotguns:
Quotes are solicited under Request For Quotation (RFQ) number TIRWR-10-Q-00023. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written RFQ will not be issued. Alex Jones crashes protest against enemies of the 2nd Amendment in Austin TX. Makes nasty remarks to Catherine Bleish and members of the Continental Congress & others

Bill Cooper was right about A.J, What is the best way to control the opposition? To be a leader of it.

( Comment from American Resistance Radio) – Alex Jones is an enemy agent in my opinion he is there to discredit the patriots by helping feed the mainstream media’s effort to make the true Americans look like morons and paranoid lunatics therefore effectively drawing attention away from the blatant and illegal disregard of our 2nd amendment right by the ATF and  the rest of the federal government

Alex Jones oversteps the line here. A group of people includingwww.libertyrestorationproject.org organized an event to protest and defend their 2nd ammendment rights and A.J decides to speak over them and even calls some of them nasty names. Keep in mind that these people reached out to A.J and asked him if he would be a speaker at the event and he told them NO!
He then decides to attempt to take over the event. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_X-CVR5L14
Updated : New Video : This video thread has been deleted twice and I don’t know why, this video shows where A.J yells in the face of an organizer of this event to “GET THE HELL OUT OF MY FACE” here is the video that keeps getting deleted :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdJ4zhiB2s4
Here A J claims Catherine has a hard on for him, as she tries to talk with him all he does is try to belittle her. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWM17wiHhww
Updated : This comes from one of the people at the protest : Originally Posted by pfarley

Organizers were extremely deliberate in aiming to focus the message on points relevant to firearm rights and the issue at hand. The organizing groups have worked very hard to establish good media relationships and they had blasted out to numerous media outlets some precise talking points in a well-crafted press release. The media vans were positioned across the street from the police station by 3:30 when I arrived – multiple media trucks had their booms up ready to run live broadcasts on the 5pm news.
Now let me tell you what I observed about Alex.
Alex swaggered up to the protest area with an entourage of 8 or 9 people (mostly his videographers) at just a couple of minutes past 5 o’clock. The first thing I noticed was that it looked like he was wearing makeup… so I thought ‘Oh, I guess Alex is here to get some footage for an upcoming NWO film’. But then it became apparent to me he was there to do more than that…
He looked directly at the *legitimate* rally organizer already speaking on the police department steps. He positioned himself directly in front of the ongoing rally (between the rally and the media trucks) and began bullhorning *extremely* loudly about how the “Media are LIARS!! Mainstream media is nothing but BS!!” Yadda yadda. Now, you’d think Alex – with all his years of experience – would realize the effect this would have. It, of course, resulted in cancellation of all the LIVE broadcasts. They couldn’t air live. Period. If he had actually been yelling about gun control issues, maybe they could have.
Alex could have chosen to jump right into the 2nd amendment issues, if his agenda was to bring attention to the problem of gun control. But he didn’t. That stuff became mixed in here and there later.
For two hours, Alex stayed on a maniacal trajectory insulting numerous people at the event – including his fans, including Catherine Bleish, and including the director of the Texas Libertarian Party. He was a grotesque caricature of himself, IMO.
Mostly I was heartbroken that he would trash the hard work of the organizers by neutralizing the press coverage they had at-the-ready.
And then there’s the fact that Alex over-spoke an excellent lineup of planned speakers. In the lineup were two local attorneys who have been examining the specifics of the gun show shutdown case that prompted the rally, Catherine Bleish (Liberty Restoration Project), Robert Butler (Director of the LP Texas), and Darwin Boedecker (the owner of the gun store that was shut down).
Organizers tried to work with Jones, first by offering him his choice of speaking positions in the lineup — then, when Alex declined their speaking invitation, by moving their rally (again, already in progress) about 20 feet away to another corner of the pavilion in front of the PD building. Guess what Jones did. Yep, went up the steps so he could bullhorn within 20 feet of them again.
The whole scene involving AJ was reprehensible.

Sunstein Attacks Second Amendment

“The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that… it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.”

–Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824.

In a lecture at the University School of Law on October 27, 2007, Obama’s administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs emphatically stated that you do not have a right to own firearms. “It is striking and noteworthy,” said Cass Sunstein, “that well over two centuries since the founding, the Supreme Court has never suggested that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to have guns.”

It is said Sunstein is a constitutional scholar. And yet he fails to mention that opinions dealing with the Second Amendment come from almost every period in the Court’s history and almost all of them are consistent with the proposition that the Second Amendment is an individual right. See David B. Kopel, The Supreme Court’s Thirty-five Other Gun Cases: What the Supreme Court Has Said about the Second Amendment.

“My coming view is that the individual right to bear arms reflects the success of an extremely aggressive and resourceful social movement and has much less to do with good standard legal arguments than [it] appears,” Sunstein said elsewhere in the lecture (not included in the above clip). “My tentative suggestion is that the individual right to have guns as it’s being conceptualized now is best taken as a contemporary creation and a reflection of current fears — not a reading of civic-centered founding debates.”

“Mr. Sunstein’s overt hostility to the idea that the Constitution protects an individual right to bear arms, including for purposes of self-defense, is not something that should be welcomed from somebody whose job might entail weighing in on the value of anti-gun regulations. It also makes his more recent assurances that he is a Second Amendment stalwart seem rather disingenuous, at the very least,” an editorial published by The Washington Times stated last September.

In July of 2009, Sunstein sent a letter to Sen. Saxby Chambliss of Georgia assuring him that he strongly believes the Constitution protects an individual right to bear arms. “Your first question involved the Second Amendment. I strongly believe that the Second Amendment creates an individual right to possess and use guns for purposes of both hunting and self-defense. I agree with the Supreme Court’s decision in the Heller case, clearly recognizing the individual right to have guns for hunting and self-defense. If confirmed, I would respect the Second Amendment and the individual right that it recognizes.”

In response, Chambliss dropped his hold on the nomination of Sunstein to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. In other words, Sunstein lied about the Second Amendment in order to fool Congress into accepting his nomination.

It’s too bad Chambliss didn’t see the above video before voting to confirm Sunstein. If he had, Sunstein would probably not be in the government now. He would not be threatening to close down the First and Second Amendments.

Obama’s Favorite For Supreme Court Justice Sunstein Wants To Ban Guns, Free Speech

Regulatory Czar has already been tapped for senior position

Obamas Favorite For Supreme Court Justice Sunstein Wants To Ban Guns, Free Speech 150110SunsteinCass Sunstein, president Obama’s appointee to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, and the man who outlined a plan for the government to infiltrate “conspiracy groups” in order to undermine them, is in direct line for a promotion to Supreme Court Justice.
Sunstein, already in an advanced position of power in the White House as Regulatory czar, has already called for strict restrictions on gun ownership, an internet “Fairness Doctrine”, and an effective ban on free speech where dissenting opinions to those of the government are expressed.
Suntein’s name was on various shortlists to replace Justice David Souter last year following his retirement, and prior to the appointment of Sonia Sotomayor. Sunstein’s name was also touted for the Supreme Court before Obama even took office in November 2008.
His close personal relationship with Obama should set alarm bells ringing for anyone who values the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, particularly as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, now aged 75, is likely to take retirement soon following illness, and with Justice John Paul Stevens now aged 90.
Sunstein and Obama go way back from their faculty days at the University of Chicago law school and are firm friends. Sunstein worked as an advisor to Obama during his presidential campaign and was drafted into the White House soon after Obama won the election.
As Obama’s “Information Czar”, Sunstein effectively interprets the law for the Executive. Sunstein operates in a similar, but much more elevated, role to that of former Justice Department lawyer John Yoo, who infamously re-interpreted the law to legally sanction torture under the Bush Administration.
As we highlighted in our article yesterday, Sunstein has outlined plans for the government to infiltrate “conspiracy groups”, including the 9/11 Truth Movement, in order to undermine them via postings on chat rooms and social networks, as well as real meetings.
Sunstein has effectively penned the blueprint for a Cointelpro “provocateur” style program to silence what have become the government’s most vociferous and influential critics.
The specifics of the plans must be read in full in order to gauge their extreme nature and the threat Sunstein poses to the freedom in America.
On page 14 of Sunstein’s January 2008 white paper entitled “Conspiracy Theories,” he proposed that “under imaginable conditions” the government “might ban conspiracy theorizing” and could “impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories.”
In effect, Obama’s information czar wants to tax or ban outright, as in make illegal, opinions and ideas that the government doesn’t approve of.
Sunstein’s definition of a “conspiracy theorist” encompasses those who question manmade global warming and, most bizarrely, anyone who believes that sunlight is healthy for their bodies.
Presumably if Sunstein had been in power in the latter middle ages he would have attempted to tax and then ban the work of Galileo Galilei for subscribing to the theory that the Earth was not the centre of the universe and that it actually revolved around the Sun.

Given his extreme actions and stated intentions, Cass Sunstein should be forced out of office and barred from practicing law with immediate effect. If president Obama has his way, however, we may very soon see his good buddy Sunstein elevated to the highest judicial position in the country.
